The Orenburg dawn breed was created by means of long popular selection of local goats (similar to the cashmere type) and by means of controlled selection with the goats of the Pridon breed in the 1950s.
Specifics of the climate zone influenced the formation of unusual type of the dawn goats of the relict type, that allows receiving thin, flexible, fluffy dawn giving the products made up of this dawn a special beauty.

Over two centuries the Orenburg dawn goats have been famous for their high quality dawn which is thinner and softer in weight and is

more elastic than the dawn of other types of goats.
Thanks to its high qualities, the dawn is well known as a raw material for production of a wide range of goods that are characterized by its thinness, beauty, and strength. They can serve as a good protection against cold. The goats' dawn is called "soft gold" for no other type of floss can be as soft, tender, light and warm at the same time. The chemical composition of the dawn, its mechanical and physical qualities  give it curative properties.
